Thompson Square

Had a great time with Katie last night at Thompson Square. We were in the 10th row and had a great view. Afterwards we met the band and Shawna and Kiefer Thompson were so sweet and spent some time with Katie. The band did some cover songs from Bon Jovi and Aerosmith. I was pleased that KP was rocking out to both bands and knew all the lyrics to them, very unusual in today's youth :) We wrapped the night up with fried Twinkies and Filipino food. An amazing night with my KP!

Beginning Blog

Often I have started to blog only to let it fall by the wayside as life sweeps us up and carries me along but I will make a better effort and this is my public proclamation so hopefully someone will help hold me to it!

European Hijinks!

I really think that visiting Europe this time was an amazing trip! I met some amazing French people and made some new friends that I hope to have for a long time! My new friends, Katie, and Cathleen , while a bit younger than me, are definitely quality people with kind hearts, adventuresome spirits and kindred souls. It is hard to find people who you click with and who you don;t get tired of at some point but I love them both and am stoked to have found two such wonderful people at the same time. Cathleen and I both had our birthdays while we were in France and the three of us had a blast!
